At BYG, we believe in producing the highest quality food! Our indoor growing methods make year-round production possible. We supply locally to restaurants, distributors, and individual customers as well. Using indoor grow technology from 24:45 Organics, we sustainably grow the purest, freshest food you can get. Our Story

Like all plants, our farm has roots, linking together different people and companies who share the same dream. BYG was made possible by 24:45 Organics, Brooks Washburn, EvanLEE Organics, and AgZeit Farms as well as the hard work of many others including family, friends and volunteers.

Our introduction to supplying the Broome county with fresh, locally grown food began through Tiger Ventures in Union-Endicott. AgZeit Farms began growing in a 600-square-foot classroom at Linnaeus W West Elementary, using 24:45 Organics’ grow technology.

Now, we grow vertically at BYG using grow units invented by 24:45 Organics in our 10,000-square-foot building in Endicott, NY. Headed by AgZeit CEO, Jim Dutcher and 24:45 Organics founder, Andy Maslin, our farmers are trained by the master of indoor growing, focusing on quality and precision.

We are so proud to have opened our doors during a global pandemic to feed the community with nutrient rich, soil grown foods. From slower days to busier ones, we’re always striving to create and care for the highest quality produce. By growing indoors we are able to get high yields of produce year round. Who doesn’t love fresh basil in the middle of a snowy winter?

We thank the community so much for welcoming us and supporting local business. Our living herbal sleeves can be found on shelves around the area, from Maines Food and Party Warehouse to Weis, as well as a variety of greens right on the farm. Come visit us!

Having perfected his indoor growing technique for the last 35 years, as well as farming organically for almost 40 years, 24:45 Organics founder Andy Maslin is the expert in indoor growing technology. With 24:45’s indoor grow units, you can grow your own organic, nutrient rich food anywhere, regardless of traditional grow seasons.

EvanLEE Organics

Founder and CEO of EvanLEE Organics Todd Bard aims to assist a variety of people including veterans, chefs, dining institutions, restaurants, and healthcare facilities learn to grow, serve, and eat their own organic produce onsite. A distributor of 24:45 Organics’ grow system, EvanLEE Organics’ clientele include over 30 schools, nursing homes, senior centers, early childhood centers, a country club, and Worcester County House of Corrections.

AgZeit Farms

From their 600 square foot pilot farm at Tiger Ventures Union-Endicott to BYG’s 10,000 square foot grow space, AgZeit continues to provide the area with fresh healthy produce you can trust. With a background of over 30 years in IT, AgZeit Farms’ CEO Jim Dutcher is currently Broome County’s CIO, with his goal being to make fresh local produce affordable and accessible. Brooks Washburn of Brooks Washburn Architecture

Brooks Washburn owns and runs Brooks Washburn Architecture in Potsdam, NY. In charge of his entire staff, Washburn is the Project Architect.
